The home search started out slowly, some drive-by’s and some Open Houses.  But when my clients saw THE ONE come up for sale in the neighborhood they’d been hoping for, they did not hesitate AT ALL!  We scheduled two showings that same weekend (Veterans Day weekend), because sometimes you need to see it again, and take in all the details you may have missed the first time.

Their lender was one that I knew we could trust to get their VA LOAN approved and closed on-time. We were competing with multiple offers, but I wrote it up strong based on the information I had gathered by talking with the listing agent.  This can make ALL THE DIFFERENCE!  I pick up the phone to gather intel, and to build relationship with the other side.

As with any home purchase we needed to get through the home inspection and request for repairs.  My clients had a lot of concerns.  They also had a previously booked vacation to Maui during this same time! I told them “go relax on the beach, I’ll take care of everything here”. In the end, a credit was negotiated and my clients closed Escrow in time for summer.

They are still doing some renovations and taking their time, but I can’t wait to see their home finished and their family all moved in.
