It was almost Christmas, so that right there tells you my clients are BRAVE! This is true of them in MANY ways, but … they were ready for this, and so was I.
They did their part by getting it prepped, and I did my part with professional photography (don’t settle for anything less). The first weekends’ Open Houses had great attendance. It became evident that it didn’t MATTER that it was December, this home was going to SELL. We had multiple offers, and got it into Escrow within a week.
WHY was this such a great result? For starters … this was a GREAT house and it was priced correctly. It had beautiful original hardwood floors and completely remodeled kitchen and baths. I’ve used a photo of their kitchen on one of my marketing pieces, and people are still asking “where’s this one?” You can see the disappointment on their face when I tell them it’s already sold. We currently have very low inventory in La Verne, so homes in this price range that are priced correctly, are selling quickly! You need someone familiar with the local market and pricing.
