It was a privilege selling Lantana. because I was able to work with a family I’ve known for a very long time. It was a unique situation because their kids actually purchased the home from them! This was also a first for me! When a parent sells to their child, there is a property tax benefit known as the parent/child transfer tax exclusion (or prop 58). Mom and dad bought their dream home in Oregon, and their kids now live in a home that already held memories for them. Such a win/win!
